video call ~

so is thursday, my teacher tell me is time to continue video call that held on 8 october., but we only can talked with the technician named cory & linda cuz the internet connection is so bad (we already prepare the food and ondel-ondel to be introduced with them, but we can't see each others and the video haz bad quality, broken voice ...  *sniff)

as usually, i rushed to other class, yeah my school is moving class so i don't want get place on behind~
but suddenly mrs. en appear in front of me, and said : "you  didn't go to hall? hurry! video call just about to started!"
so this is what i do:

and, as expected there's many person on it, 9 grader until 7 grade, but not too many, only people that can speak english fluently that choosed (me? ohohoho =v=;)

if a month ago we bring egg crust, cupcakes, and other food that usually served on jakarta fair, now we only few traditional cakes that rarely found (luckily i didn't fasting today, i could tasted them without bring it home)
actually is prepared by school tough ._.;

but i think we have some internet problem , and people that we want to talked hasn't online, we can go to canteen first~~
and we all treated by headmaster!! XD

okay actually i got 1 problem, i'm lately tell my friend that she joined international video call, i pick her up on english class, i wasn't really sure that she joined or not, so here's it go:
le me: hey, i think you joined the video call isn't it?
le farras: hm? i don't know
le me: *sigh* okay check them later
but few minutes later the english teacher tell her that she joined, but verify it, she must go to the hall.
And... she late, yeah late, all people that called already gather
 AN CUZ OF THAT SHE MAD TO MEH
like sayin' : "i hate you, very much, you didn't tell meh i joined the video call, i'm late, i hate you, really, you annoyin' blah-blah blah"

WTH = =

ok i didn't answer her word that increasingly vague and silly, just keep walked to the canteen
now food.. what i should choose...
"you'll can choose the food over here, and the total must Rp 5000!"

nah, now i'm confused, all food over here looks delicias and yummy, donut, ice tea, bakwan, satay, porridge, noodles, etc..etc *drool

"1 bowl of chicken noodles with dumplings and ice tea!"
yeah, that's alifah, the girl that formerly commend a cat to take cared by meh, she joined video call too ( she usually talk with me with english, for.. practice)

then came sasha, my senior, bring chicken noodle , spicy chips and ice tea, then farras ( the girl that mad to me) and sekar

they already came with food on their hand, but.. wut about me??
okay.. chicken noodle is Rp 3000... ice tea is Rp 1000... spicy chips same... but i think nutrisari with Rp 2000 is good too.,. which i should choose?

"okay, chicken noodle with nutrisari please!" say me
maybe i think i spend too many time for choose which food i should eat, so mama okta (canteen keeper) boiled another noodle (now i need to wait =.=)

so for shorten this unimportant scene, i'll explain it shortly
i do a little chit chat while eating the food, pungency because the chips, and talked about what high school will we choose see? i always start the conversation with  random topics 

After our stomach filled, we back to the hall, okay things going better , internet already connected, peoples on skype online, mic has connected ..etc

we just take position if we must introduce my self one by one.
the teacher tell us to practice first, because if didn't or voice will complicated when do then video call

and,.. yeah my hand is trembling, when touching the mic to practice, cold sweat, makes the mic surface feels slippery than earlier, did i.. nervous?

and finally, mr nico click the video call button in skype, (you already know the sound isn't it?)

then the connecting sound echoing, make us worried, what if they don't understand our poor english?

theeen, okay there's indian face appear on the wall (we used infocus for showing the video call)
named sanjay, and.. another technical.... named Kory! at first we didn't recognized him, but after read the name and looked on his face closely, we finally know
his hace was cbecome more shaggy, wait... okay is gonna be 2 month since our last call

"Hello everybody!" said mr. sanjay
"hellooooo" Reply us eagerly
"is you're the student from SIT? (idk why he didn't call us student from darbi)
"yeeessss"
"can you came closer so we can see you clearly "
we move closer to the laptop, previously we sit on the chair and surrounding the table

well, is hard to talk each others without echoing, so we alternately talked, if he talked, we mute the microphone, but if we talked, he muted. we show body language when he talked.

idk, he didn't used british accent , is mixed with hindi accent and makes me remember how people on 3 idiots talking ( i think is most hillarious bollywood movie, aha)

and we heard another voice, but they didn't showed the video, maybe internet problem again?

and after silence moment with my friends & me with mr sanjay, we can turn on the microphone again
he said we must connecting to bluejeans room (a hall for meeting or important event in there)

so mr sanjay changed to Kory, ahay~

kory accent is mixed between british and american, so we can understand it easily than mr. sanjay that use hindi accent

and of course farah,  my senior is the most speakable person in this video call, i only talked when needed and if nobody want to answer the question

too bad because the internet (again) have a problem, we can't see the india people, only the voice that broken sounding, cryptic, and not clear, but because we must respect them... i pretend hearing them eagerly, although i only know some word of them, cause is really freaking not  clear = = (oh internet)

so this some Q&A that we do with india student :)

Q(from my side): why does indian movie have a part of singing and dancing?
A(the india student): because the movie without music is incomplete
Q(the india student): what is your traditional food?
A(my side): actually our typical food is satay, but we only can show you this, (point the foods) is leupet, layer      cake, cucur, and kembang goyang, but the most interesting ways to make is layer cake, the maker must be a patient person, they make a layer one by one, with different thickness, then pour the dough to the brass.
Q(the india student): do you have any festival?
A (my side): we have many kind of it, but the most famous is jakarta fair that held on jakarta, indonesian capital city, at jakarta birthday on june 22 this is not a religion festival, the religion festival is eid, that celebrate after we do fasting for 1 month.

and then the 4 eyes conversation , we alternately passing mic for talk, then when we talked, kory direct our voice to india student, and we still can't faced each others (i blame you internet)
they asked about environment, who people that we know around it, and what does faith meant

i can't remember what we talked again after that, is just too many  ==
for shortening, we talked about 1 hour 38 minutes long (almost 2 hours Xd)

all people that joined is almost 15 , but the people who talked is under 10, the boys, which have total 3, the only one that have enough brave to talked is only from class 7 (2 others is 9 grade)

and because we have a difference time until 6 hours with kory ( he's on england) and 3 hours with indian student (they're in india... who knows the difference time between indonesia and india?)

and after the long talking between them, the end call button clicked

after that, we sighed of relief, then the bell of lunch time ringed, the hall door opened, then we tidy up the mess that we  make

"kory is such  kind person!" "unfortunately we can't see the indian student" blahblahblah

yush is just a chit-chat after someone asked what does it feels talked with foreign people
and a conversation between the choosen people (lol Animashaun) that joining video call

luckily i only pass 2 subjects, english (easiest subject on middle school) and slc (student lead conference)
that i've done the task, and this subject is spent to gossiped, sleep, and another boring activity

so after the video call, i rushed to the locker to take a food

and back to the hall with water & lunch box~

okay that's all my reports... =w=;
